Professional Profile

Agricultural Engineer with extensive professional experience in the maintenance of high-level green areas and sports fields. Specialized in sustainable agronomic management, he works as a Greenkeeper Consultant and Advisor for the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products, in accordance with Royal Decree 1311/2012, ensuring regulatory compliance and the implementation of environmental best practices in Spain.

Professional Experience

He has extensive experience as a technical advisor in the management and maintenance of prestigious golf courses and football clubs. He actively collaborates with top-tier facilities such as Río Real Golf, La Quinta Golf, Real de La Quinta, Cabopino Golf, La Cala Golf, Golf Las Américas, Club de Golf La Cañada, and Granada CF... providing advanced technical solutions focused on efficiency, turf quality, and environmental sustainability.

Teaching and research

Teaching and Specialized Training

Since 2004, he has served as a tenured professor of Plant Nutrition in the Master’s Degree in Golf and Football Pitch Maintenance Management at EADE (Málaga). His teaching focus is on training future industry professionals, combining a solid scientific foundation with the practical application of agronomic strategies tailored to current sports maintenance demands.

Research and Technological Development

Alongside his professional and teaching activities, he has developed intensive research focused on implementing agronomic technologies aimed at environmental best practices. His research lines include optimizing the efficiency of water and fertilizer resources, precision fertigation, and the study of biostimulants, phytofortifiers, and elicitors, with the goal of improving plant performance while reducing environmental impact.

He has participated as a speaker at numerous national and international conferences and technical meetings. Particularly noteworthy is his continued presence at the Annual Conference of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and at the Annual Congress of the Spanish Association of Greenkeepers, associations of which he has been a member for more than 20 years, consolidating his recognition within the sector.
